I went to Osaka, Japan!

October 31, 2013

My days in Osaka were filled with sleepless nights because I wanted to see the whole of Osaka and the only way to do that is to go out every night since I have classes in the morning. My dormitory had a curfew and it was supposed to be followed and let's just say, I followed.

This is me visiting the shopping outlets near my dormitory.

On my last days, I toured around with some Japanese high school students.

We started the day early and we first went to the Tsutenbaku and rubbed the foot of the Billiken. The Billiken is this little creature that resembles Majenbu from Dragon ball. Yes, we went there to rub the foot of a statue. Weird right? But they say that if you rub the foot of the Billiken, you get what your heart desires *slightly vomits*

We also visited this "museum" where they displayed the old life of Osaka. I wore Yukata (light cotton Kimono) and walked around on it.

We, of course did not forget to eat, so here's some of the delicious food we had while on tour.

I was so tempted to do so but unfortunately, I was not able to eat some of this Pocky tower.
