Last last weekend, the exchange students from Setsunan University and some of my friends decided to stroll around our city. We all agreed to bring the Japanese students to the Davao Crocodile Park, the Tribu K Mindanawan and Samal Island.

We rode the famous Filipino transportation, jeepney. The students were really excited to go to the park because we told them that we will eat crocodile ice cream or crocodile meat. When we got there, they decided not to enter Crocodile Park for some reason but they still opted to eat crocodile ice cream. They say that the crocodile ice cream has crocodile meat and is made with crocodile egg. The Japanese students only bought one and it was Durian flavored. We all know that Durian stinks like a canal full of human excrete so it was a challenge for them to eat it. Their faces were really funny when they were trying to eat the ice cream. It was like the last days of their lives.

After that, we went to Tribu K Mindanawan to watch a fire show. Before the fire show started, there was a parlor game and one of the Japanese students, Shun participated and won first prize which were tickets to Crocodile Park and Zip City. The fire show was amazing and fantastic, I recommend it to anyone reading this post! My favorite was the end part where every fire dancer was present and there was a fire work effect. It was so beautiful I forgot about the heat.

After the show, we had dinner. There was a band and they called some of our friends to sing and dance in front and they happily said yes. It was very fun.

The next day, we went to the nearby island, Samal Island. We were supposed to go to a beach but for some reason we ended up in a waterfall. I do not know if they enjoyed the waterfall but one thing for sure, they enjoyed the motorcycle ride on our way to the waterfall. Why did I say this? Because for the first time in their lives, they rode a motorcycle with 5 other people on the same motorcycle. The thought that it was dangerous made the trip more exciting for them.

After the waterfall, we decided to go to a beach. BUT, it rained so we decided against it. Instead we went to a restaurant and just ate there. We waited for an hour just for our food to come. Customer service kind of sucked.

After two days of strolling and being tired, we can say that we all have become friends. The students from Setsunan University were really kind and fun to be with. I really really hope and wish that we will all meet again and have a chance to do these kinds of things again.
